These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the iskurajp website and your purchase of collectable arcade cards through our UK-facing shop.

We sell Japanese arcade collectable cards (including Dragon Ball Super Divers and related sets) to customers in the United Kingdom.
Sourced on demand through our Japan partner — zero UK warehouse stock. Each card is sourced individually in Japan after you complete checkout — we do not hold UK warehouse stock.
Condition tiers (Near Mint and Lightly Played) are shown on each card page. You choose the tier before checkout.
Card prices on the site reflect live Japan market data for your chosen variant and condition tier, converted to GBP with a small exchange-rate buffer, unless we have set a fixed price for a card.
Prices can change until you complete checkout. The total shown in your basket and at Stripe checkout is the amount you agree to pay.
Public checkout is one payment for the full order total: card price(s), optional per-card insurance, and UK postage on your first item in the current batch (if applicable). We do not run a deposit-then-balance shop on the public website. You may redeem Vault Shards loyalty credit against card prices when offered — see section 20.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Each order line is sourced for you after payment. Your chosen card, condition tier, and batch placement make the goods bespoke or made to your specifications under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Because of this, the usual 14-day right to cancel a distance contract does not apply once you have placed your order and we have begun sourcing, or where goods are made to your specifications. We will bring this to your attention before checkout.
You may still have statutory rights if goods are faulty — see section 12.
Each card is sourced individually in Japan. Once every card has reached our Japan partner, they ship together in one parcel to the UK.
Paid orders join one open batch. Batch progress is shown as a percentage on your orders page. Japan sourcing for the batch begins after progress reaches 100% and our operational preflight checks are complete.
We do not guarantee a fixed calendar date for Japan purchase, international transit, or UK delivery. Timelines depend on batch fill, sourcing availability, and carriers. We will keep you updated by email and on your orders page.
If you add further cards in the same batch after your first order, UK postage is not charged again on those lines.
You select a Royal Mail tier at checkout on your first order in a batch: Tracked 48 (£3), Tracked 24 (£4), or Special Delivery (£11), as offered on the site.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you provided, or when it is available for collection and you have been notified, in line with applicable law.
You are responsible for providing a correct UK delivery address and for receiving the parcel.
You may add optional insurance per basket line at checkout. The default fee is 5% of that line's card retail price, rounded to pennies, unless we state otherwise on the site.
Covers loss or damage from when your card is with our Japan partner through UK delivery.
Insurance does not cover: Japan sourcing failure; material price or FX overrun before purchase; cancellation or refund scenarios covered elsewhere in these terms; or damage arising before your card is with our Japan partner.
To make a claim, contact us at hello@iskurajp.co.uk with your order reference, photos, and a description of the loss or damage. We will confirm eligibility and next steps. Claims handling may require reasonable evidence and cooperation with carriers.
After you pay, we snapshot the Japan market price, fees, and exchange rate used for your order. Before we purchase your card in Japan (when the batch is ready), we check again. For checkout at £100 or below per line, we absorb Japan sourcing moves up to 10% (up to £10 per card) — you keep the checkout price within that band. For checkout above £100 per line, we do not absorb sourcing cost rises; if Japan sourcing costs rise at all, we contact you first. In either case, if the GBP/JPY rate moves materially (more than 3% from your snapshot), we contact you before purchase. You can hold your order for one re-check when the batch fills, pay any agreed extra amount, or cancel for a refund before purchase. If you cancel, you can opt in to a one-time email when our listed price for that card is at or below what you paid — that does not reserve stock. If you held your order, we only re-check when the batch first reaches 100% on your orders page — not while it is still filling. For lines at £100 or below, if the market is then within the 10% band, your order resumes at your checkout price without a further charge. For lines above £100, your order resumes only if Japan sourcing costs have not risen since your snapshot. We never charge more silently.
We will not charge you more than your agreed checkout total for the card, nor any extra card amount you have explicitly approved on your order page or in writing, without your choice.
If a sourcing issue cannot be resolved and your card has not been purchased in Japan, we may refund you in line with section 11.
Once our Japan partner has purchased your card in Japan (we record this as the purchase milestone on your order line), we cannot reverse that purchase on your behalf. All sales are then final except where you have a statutory right because the goods are faulty or not as described.
This reflects the on-demand sourcing model: we buy the specific listing reserved for your order after batch readiness and preflight checks.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK law.
Collectable cards are graded by condition tier (NM/LP). If you receive a card that is faulty or not as described — for example, significantly worse than the tier you paid for — contact us at hello@iskurajp.co.uk within a reasonable time with photos. We may offer repair, replacement, or a price reduction/refund depending on the circumstances.
If you believe a card is faulty, do not rely on optional insurance alone; insurance and statutory remedies may overlap but serve different purposes.
You may submit a card request when a card is not listed in our catalogue. You provide a photo and, if you know it, an optional card code. We review availability in Japan and may email you a quote before you pay.
A quote is an offer for you to accept; it is not a binding order until you complete checkout. If we cannot source the card, we will tell you and you owe nothing for that request.
If you upload a photo without a card code, we may use automated tools to suggest a catalogue match to speed up quoting. You remain responsible for checking the quote matches the card you want before you pay.
Once you pay for an accepted request, the same bespoke sourcing, batch fulfilment, insurance, overrun, and no-refund-after-purchase-in-Japan rules in these terms apply as for catalogue orders.
We may occasionally create custom orders outside the standard public checkout flow. Payment schedules for those orders are agreed with you separately and recorded in our order ledger.
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the bespoke sourcing, batch, insurance, and no-refund-after-purchase-in-Japan rules in these terms still apply.
After your order is marked delivered in the UK we may invite you by email to leave a service review about your experience with iskurajp. Invitations are sent through Trustpilot, a third-party review platform — not at checkout, because fulfilment continues until UK delivery.
Leaving a review is optional. Public reviews you publish on Trustpilot are governed by Trustpilot's terms and privacy policy as well as these terms.
Please do not include payment card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive data in review text.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care, but we are not liable for loss that is not foreseeable or that results from events outside our reasonable control (including carrier delays, Japan market unavailability, or force majeure).
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
For business clarity: our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amounts you paid us for that order line, except where a higher limit is required by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Courts in England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have local mandatory protections.
We hope to resolve complaints informally first — please contact hello@iskurajp.co.uk.
Questions about these terms or an order: hello@iskurajp.co.uk.

Vault Shards are promotional loyalty credits offered by iskurajp. They are not cash, e-money, or a gift card, have no monetary value outside our shop, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
You earn Vault Shards on qualifying card purchases through our standard online checkout (pay-in-full Stripe checkout). We credit 1 Vault Shard for each whole £1 of card retail you pay for (based on the card price at checkout). UK postage and optional per-card insurance do not earn Shards. Shards are credited after your Stripe payment succeeds.
You may redeem 300 Vault Shards for £10.00 off the card portion of a future checkout only. Redemption requires at least £20 of card subtotal in that basket, and you may redeem at most £10 (300 Shards) per order. Vault credit cannot reduce UK postage or insurance.
Vault Shards expire 12 months after the date they are earned. We apply the oldest Shards first when you redeem. Expired Shards are forfeited.
We may offer a one-time batch join bonus (+25 Shards) on your first paid card line in the current open batch.
We may change earn or redeem rates, suspend the programme, or update these rules by posting on this page with an updated date. Material changes apply to future earn and redeem events unless we state otherwise.
If an order is refunded or cancelled before your card is purchased in Japan, we will claw back Shards earned on that order and restore Shards you spent redeeming on that checkout, in line with section 11. After your card is purchased in Japan (section 10), Shards are not clawed back on ordinary refunds. If a payment is charged back or we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, multiple accounts, or gaming of the programme, we may void Shards, cancel redemptions, or suspend your account.
Redeeming Shards at checkout forms part of the price you agree to pay for that order. Your statutory rights relating to the goods themselves are unchanged (section 12).
Admin or off-platform custom orders do not earn or redeem Vault Shards unless we agree otherwise in writing.
This section applies when the Vault Shards referral programme is enabled. It does not change your statutory rights in sections 10–12.
Invite links let existing customers share a personal link (for example https://iskurajp.co.uk/?ref=YOUR_CODE). Waitlist signup, creating an account, or verifying your email alone does not earn referral Shards for anyone.
How attribution works: if a visitor arrives with ?ref= on the URL, we may store a short-lived referral cookie (see our Cookie Policy). If they create a new account while that cookie is present, we link their account to the referrer. If you already have an account, you may enter one referral code once in Account → Vault before your first qualifying purchase — you cannot change or remove it later.
A qualifying purchase means the buyer's first online pay-in-full checkout where the card retail subtotal in that single Stripe payment is at least £30. UK postage and optional per-card insurance are excluded. Spend on separate orders is not added together — for example £15 then £20 on two checkouts does not qualify; one checkout with £30+ of cards in that payment does qualify.
When a referred friend qualifies, they receive 50 bonus Vault Shards (in addition to ordinary earn on card retail). The referrer may receive 100 bonus Shards when the friend qualifies, but only if the referrer has already completed their own qualifying purchase in one checkout (at least £30 card retail in that payment). If the friend qualifies first, the referrer's 100 bonus credits when the referrer later completes their first qualifying purchase.
Referrer bonuses from invite links are capped at 500 Vault Shards lifetime (5 successful referred qualifying purchases, at current rates).
You cannot use your own referral code, apply more than one referral code to the same account, or apply a code after you have already completed a qualifying purchase. We may mark an attribution invalid and void related Shards if we detect self-referral, duplicate or fake accounts, manipulation, or other abuse.
Referral Shards are subject to the same expiry and pre-purchase clawback rules as other Vault Shards in section 20.
